Why I love my Mary Kay Business

There are really far to many reasons for me to list in one blog post about why I love my Mary Kay business, so I will try to keep it sweet, short and simple =)

Money- I mean who doesn't need more $$$??? It seems in life we work work work and for what? To pay bills? I LOVE the income I make in my personal MK business because it allows my growing family to have fun! And lets be honest, Money does NOT buy happiness, but it surely buys choices.

Recognition- If you are a married woman /mom reading this, take a look back at the last month, when was the last time you were recognized for doing a great job at work, for cleaning the WHOLE house or taking care of the children? ummmm ya, not often, but it is sure pointed out when we didn't have enough time to get it done. MK offers me that outlet of being appreciate for the hard work that I do. Whether I have an amazing week and make all kinds of money, or have a mediocre week, I get recognized and let me be completely honest, it feels good =) Check out this Awesome Ivanka Trump Slim case that the company awarded to me for being a star consultant!

Self Confidence- Before my MK I was terrified to talk to people I didn't know and this business has helped me come out of my shy shell. Because of that I have seen great things happening in my business and have made some great friends!

Cars- Ok so I'm not driving one of the amazing FREE Mary Kay cars yet, but I will be! And the thought of getting a beautiful brand new car for free with the taxes, registration, licenses and registration with majority of the car insurance covered is enough for me to get excited =) Check out this beauty! It's the Chevy Cruise!

Advancement/Advantages- I have the ability to advance and get promoted at my own pace. What traditional job/company out there lets YOU decide when you want a promotion or when YOU feel your ready for a pay raise. And the advantages with taxes are definitely something to get excited about. Come tax season you better believe I'll be writing off my cell phone bill, internet bill, gas mileage for MK , etc.

Be my own Boss- Heck ya! Who wouldn't want to be their own boss and have the flexibility that comes along with that? I am a stay at home mama and there are just some days that I don't feel like working. But I don't have to go through a "Boss" to get myself cleared to go spend the day with my baby boy.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, I love my MK because it has given me an opportunity that no one else has ever been able to give me. (And I didn't start this business because I had nowhere else to go.) I have a 4 year college degree, I could have chosen a much different path for myself, but I chose the freedom to work my own hours, freedom to stay home with my son while earning an income, and I chose to help my growing family achieve financial freedom!

WOO-HOO! Why would any woman NOT want to at least give this a try??

Queen for the Night

So at our weekly Mary Kay meetings we usually crown queens for the week. We have a Queen of faces, which is the number of new people we facialed in a week. We have a Queen of Sales, Queen of Wholesale production, and a Queen of Sharing, which is holding interviews/sponsering new team members.

Well, on the first Monday of every month we do a Rally and have Queens for the monthly accomplishments! I made Queen of faces for the month of April!! I had 31 new faces that I facialed :) Because of this accomplishment I also completed a Perfect Start (15 faces in 15 days) and a Power Start (30 faces in 30 days)

Here is a picture of me and my sister consultants who also made Queen!

My Best

So this past week I truly did the best I could in my mk business. I am so happy to say that I facialed 11 new faces! My sales were a little under $200 for the week, but we ARE right at the end of the month. I did an interview with a lady and she seems interested in the business, but it will probably be about another month before she joins my team :)

So I feel there are two little phrases that truly applied to my week one is well known and the other is quoted from Pam Kelly, the Future Executive National Sales Director with Mary Kay. I'll start with Pam's quote:

"Best, best, I do my best, everyday I do it, God does the rest."

And here is another one I had going through my head this week:

"Good, Better, Best, never let it rest until you're good is better and you're better best."

Did what I thought was my best and I know that God will take care of the rest. And yet I have only been in business for 6 months so I know that I will always continue to improve and my best and I will get better!!!

I know it seems crazy to love Monday's, but I do, and I'm ready for the week ahead of me!!!

Great, but Long Day!!!

Me and a few other Mary Kay girls here in town split the cost of a booth at a convention here in town called Beacon Fest. I dont know the total count of leads we got but I am thinking between 250-300! I cant wait to get on the phone and book some appointments this weekend!

Every Accomplishment starts with the decision to try

I am so motivated! I have one sale already this week and a large party booked on Saturday! If there is anything I wish I could do better in my Mary Kay business, It would be to more accurately show women how much of a change this business can make in your life!!! I can't imagine how I would feel having to leave my 4 month old son in daycare to go work an 8-5 job.

Just this month I have added two recruits to my team and am shooting for another two this month! And it's not just about adding people to my team to get higher commission checks, it's about changing other women's lives and sharing with them the same opportunities that I have been given in Mary Kay.

There's truly nothing to lose when trying Mary Kay for yourself. It is so easy to go to the mall and buy two outfits and spend $100 or even go to Target or Walmart and drop $100-$200 on groceries.

For the month of April it only costs $75 to start your Mary Kay business. As women we have to be thrifty and we like to get deals! This truly is an amazing deal $75 for $500 in product and training materials! Listening to my area call the other day, One of the ladies said Mary Kay is for every woman, But not every woman will give it a try. I am so glad I was one of those women who did give Mary Kay I try!
